Zebi Validators Overview V1.0

Introduction

Validators are independent individuals who are responsible for creating and running blocks on the blockchain network. These validators can stake their Zebi tokens (ZEBI) to earn the rewards. The rewards earned by the validators are directly proportional to the number of stakes in the consensus protocol participation. However, if validators behave abnormally, or remain offline or do not actively participate, there is a high probability that their tokens may get slashed.

The ZPB platform will initially have 125 validators, but with time, this number will increase. The validators are determined by the number of tokens they own or the tokens that are delegated to them – the top 125 validators with the highest number of stakes will become ZPB validators.
